Nar Phu Valley and Tilicho Lake Trek
Nar Phu Valley Tilicho Lake Trek is a splendid off-the-beaten trekking route. It is in the Annapurna Region of Nepal. The route has been open to all since 2003. The Annapurna region of Nepal is diverse. It has many trekking routes. However, Nar Phu Valley is the most mystical. These two villages are also known as hidden valleys.
This trekking is wild and thrilling. Nar and Phu's village is still an untouched valley. Significantly fewer people trek on this trail. Therefore, it is tranquil, unlike most of the major trekking routes in Nepal. Nar Phu Valley Tilicho Lake Trek is thrilling because of the various passes on the trail. Mesokanta Pass and Kangla Pass make the trip full of wilderness adventure.
If you are looking to explore the untainted valleys of Annapurna and the world’s highest-situated lake, it is an ideal choice. The terrain of Nar Phu Valley is rugged and Trans Himalayan. It is similar to the Tibetan Plateau. You can get the chance to encounter wildlife too. Snow Leopard, Thar, Musk Deer, etc., are a few examples of animals. Moreover, the trail also offers an excellent chance to visit canyons, monasteries, and Tibetan villages.
Trekkers need to get a special permit for the trek. Nar Phu Valley Tilicho Lake Trek is under a restricted trekking area. Therefore, permits and trekking guides are mandatory as per Nepalese law. After the Nar Phu Valley and Tilicho Lake visit, trekkers trek off the beaten trail to Jomsom (Lower Mustang). During the Annapurna Circuit Trek, trekkers have to cross the Thorong La Pass to reach the Lower Mustang area. However, the Nar Valley Tilicho Lake Trek itinerary follows the trail of Mesokanta Pass (5240).
