For Lobuche peak climbing, we catch a flight from the domestic terminal of Kathmandu airport to Lukla.   From Lukla, we follow a trail that will lead us to Namche via Phakding. We continue our journey through Tengboche and Dingboche to Lobuche. As we reach Lobuche, we diverge from the popular route of Everest Base Camp and follow a path to Lobuche Base Camp. As we reach the base camp, our climbing leader will lead us, and we follow his/her footsteps to the summit of Lobuche Peak. Upon successful completion, you will be blessed with stunning views of the mountains in the Everest region. You will feel like you are just a bit away from the mighty Mt. Everest.

Day 1

Pick up from airport transfer to the Hotel

Warmly welcome at Tribhuban international airport. Our representative will get you and transfer you to the hotel. He will explain to you shortly about your program. After this, free day up to your timetable leisure day overnight hotel.    

Day 2

Sightseeing in UNESCO world sites in Kathmandu valley

Day 3

Flight to Lukla and Trek to Phakding

Today, we take an early flight to Lukla. A scenic flight with mind-blowing mountain views will take us to the Khumbu region of Nepal – Lukla. From Lukla airport, we descend down to the Dudhkoshi River to connect ourselves to the main trail to Namche. We stop at Phakding for an overnight halt. Enjoy your dinner at a guesthouse in Phakding.

Day 4

Trek to Namche Bazar

Today, we follow the path along the Dudhkoshi river, cross a suspension bridge and few villages in between to Namche. Namche is a popular town in the Everest region of Nepal. Namche has its own charm, a bit of busy place that is rare in that mountainous area. Up to Namche, our trekking journey is easy in comparison to our journey ahead. Enjoy your dinner at a guesthouse in Namche bazaar.

Day 5

Acclimatization Day

Today is a free day in Namche set aside for acclimatization! We can hike up to the Everest view Hotel for the splendid views of mountains like Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Thamserku, etc. On our way to the hotel, we come across the Syangboche airport. While returning to Namche, we have the opportunity to visit a museum and explore a photo gallery. For the time saved, you can wander around the Namche bazaar to get acquainted with people and surrounding. Overnight at a hotel in Namche bazaar.

Day 6

Trek to Tengboche

Today, we continue our journey along the backdrop of majestic mountains to Tengboche. The spiritual destination of Buddhist people – Tengboche monastery is one of the major attractions of this place. We can visit the monastery for a spiritual touch to our journey. Apart from spirituality, the place is very popular for the striking views of mountains in the Everest region of Nepal. Today, we spent our night at a guesthouse in Tengboche.

Day 7

Trek to Dinboche

Soaking in the captivating beauty of Tengboche, we set out for Dingboche today. The trail leads us across a suspension bridge over the Imja Khola, followed by an ascent to Pangboche, nestled among exquisite Mani stones. From there, we continue climbing to reach the vibrant and picturesque Sherpa village of Dingboche. This high-altitude summer valley offers magnificent views of Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Island Peak. Overnight stay at a guesthouse in Dingboche.

Day 8

Acclimatization Day

Upon arriving in Dingboche, we set aside an extra day for acclimatization. During this time, you can explore the valley or opt for a hike to Nagerjun, which is highly recommended for acclimatization. While rest is important, the hike enhances your journey significantly. Today, we ascend a hill situated at the edge of the Chhukung Valley. The trail is steep and challenging, but the reward is the breathtaking panoramic views from the top, including Lobuche East, Lobuche West, Kangtega, Taboche Peak, Thamserku, and Ama Dablam. On clear days, you may also catch stunning glimpses of Makalu. After completing the ascent, we make a gradual descent back to Dingboche in the evening, where we spend the night at a guesthouse.

Day 9

Trek to Labuche

Today, we leave Dingboche and continue along the trail to the wide valley to Dughla. Day 8: Trek to Lobuche On the way to Lobuche, we pass the Trekkers Aid Post in Pheriche, managed by Western volunteer doctors in collaboration with the Himalayan Rescue Association. This post provides essential medical services to trekkers. The trail takes us across rocky slopes as we ascend to Chupki Lhara, where breathtaking mountain views await. The summit of Chupki Lhara is adorned with prayer flags and Mani stones, creating a serene atmosphere. We then descend to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, offering scenic vistas of Khumbutse, Mahalangur Himal, Lingtren, and Pumori. Continuing along the trail, we eventually reach Lobuche, where we stay overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 10

Trek to Gorak shep and continues to Everest base camp back to Gorakshep

Today, we head towards our ultimate goal – Everest Base Camp. We proceed gradually from Lobuche to Gorakshep, and then onward to the base camp. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by vibrant prayer flags and stone cairns marking this iconic spot. Standing at Everest Base Camp (5,364m) is an unforgettable experience, offering a profound sense of accomplishment. Take time to savour this moment. We will retrace our steps back to Gorakshep for an overnight stay at a guesthouse

Day 11

Hike to Kalapattar back to Gorakshep and trek to Labuche

Today is another stunning day that you'll cherish forever. We hike up to Kalapattar (5545m) for close-up views of the majestic mountains in the Everest region. The golden rays of the sun glistening on the snow-covered peaks will make you wish for time to stand still in that perfect moment. The awesome views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Amadablam and many more standing tall one after the other, you couldn’t have asked for anything more. After the beautiful hike up to Kalapatthar, we descend down to Lobuche base camp via Gorekshep. Overnight stay at a guest house. 

Day 12

Trek to Labuche High Camp

Accommodation: Tented camp

Today, we will descend to Lobuche Base Camp, a 45-minute walk. After that, we ascend up to the Lobuche High Camp. We slowly continue through the trail to Lobuche High Camp until we reach the high camp. We will have extra time after reaching the high camp therefore we utilize the time to explore the places in the high camp. From base camp to high camp, it will take around 3 hours. From the high camp, we will be blessed with magnificent views of mountainous terrain and glaciers.

In the afternoon, your climbing guide will demonstrate essential climbing skills and gear usage tips to prepare you for the big day tomorrow – Lobuche Peak Climbing. Afterwards, you'll have a restful nap following lunch to ensure you're well-rested for an early start in the morning. We spend our night in the tented camps in the high camp.
