Rolwaling Trek - 16 days
Rolwaling trek takes you between the location of the mighty Everest and the Langtang range and it is also known as the Rolwaling Valley trek. This trek is considered one of the best crowd-escaping treks as only a few numbers of trekkers are known about this trekking destination of Nepal. Most trekkers preferred crowded trails like Everest Base Camp Trek, Annapurna Base Camp Trek and other trekking trails in Nepal.
On the Rolwaling trek, you will come across the famous peak of the Rolwaling valley; Mt Gauri Shankar (7134m), DorjeLakpa and many others. Rolwaling valley is remote, wild and barely explored by the traveller. The valley is also famous for its legendary tales about the abdominal snowman known as Yeti. The first footprint of Yeti was photographed by famous British mountaineer Eric Shipton in 1951 on the slope of Rolwaling peak. The valley is a few miles away from the south of the Tibetan border and is also known as one of the seven hidden valleys in the Himalayas.
One of the thrilling parts of the Rolwaling trek is the crossing TashiLapcha pass (5755m) which requires great skill in mountaineering technicality. Thus, the Rolwaling trek is an adventure trek in Nepal as well as a remote area trekking in Nepal. Besides the TashiLapcha, the trekkers can also enjoy the beauty of Tsho-Rolpa, the largest glacier lake in Nepal. Rolwaling valley is influenced by Tibetan Buddhist culture hence their lifestyle is somewhat similar to Tibetan culture.
The Rolwaling trek is the best in Nepal and gives all the great prospects of trekking in the remote area of Nepal. The mountains, cultures, valleys, rivers and the abundance of gifts of nature are never-ending. Himalayan Ecological Trekking invites you to take part in this truly beautiful trekking experience in Nepal.
