About Short Kailash trek

The Mount Kailash trek from Timure is the shortest and best route that I mentioned itinerary. It will help you to acclimatize your body coming on the way high will accept your body and can do success the trip because we have crossed the Dolmala pass (5620m). The Timure border is a crossing point located in the Rasuwa District of Nepal, near the border with Tibet, China. It serves as an entry point for travelers wishing to visit Mount Kailash.

Mount Kailash is a sacred mountain situated in the western part of Tibet's Ngari Prefecture, near the borders of Nepal. It holds religious significance for several major religions, including Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon. Day 1: Pick up from TIA and transfer to The Hotel

Our airport representative will greet you at the Kathmandu Airport in Nepal. You will then be escorted to the hotel, where we will go over all the trip details. We will also go through the pre-trekking checklist for trekking gear, etc. You will spend the night at the hotel.

This morning, we are making efforts to acclimatize. We will drive to Godawari and then take a one-hour walk around Pulchoki viewpoint. After that, we will drive back to Patan for lunch, followed by a visit to Patan Durbar Square in the evening before returning to the hotel.

Today, we will begin our journey by driving from Kathmandu to Timure, which will take approximately 6 to 7 hours. Initially, we will head west of Kathmandu and then turn northward, following the Trisuli River. Along the way, we will pass through several well-known places such as Battar, Trisuli Bazar, Betrawati, Dhunche, Sabrubeshi, and finally reach Timure. Upon arrival, a guest house will be ready for us. In the evening, we will enjoy local food and spend the night at the guest house.

After breakfast and ensuring that we have packed all the essential items for traveling to another country, we will drive to the Chinese immigration, which opens around 8 o'clock Nepali time in the morning. Upon crossing the border, a Chinese guide and vehicle will be ready to take us to Gyirong, accompanying us throughout the Chinese area tour. The drive from immigration to Gyirong will take approximately 5 to 6 hours. Once there, we can make a short visit to a Nepali-style temple. In the evening, we will have food prepared by our own cook and spend the night at a guesthouse.
