Rara Lake Trek in Nepal is a fantastic trip in the remote part of Nepal offered by Himalayan Ecological Trekking. The lake is located in the Mugu District. The trip is nothing like other trekking destinations in Nepal. The trip can be finished in just a few hours with a flight to Talcha Airport from Nepalgunj. Likewise, another alternative is to enjoy the trek with long trekking days following the trails, which will take you to a different part of Nepal.

Rara Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Nepal. It is the biggest lake in Nepal. The Rara Lake is elegantly beautiful, as decorated with different elements of Nature. The lake is surrounded by alpine trees, and in the backdrop, you will get to see the majestic view of the Trans Himalayas of Nepal. Likewise, the lake lies inside the Rara National Park, and if lucky, you might get to see Rara and endangered animals like bear, Himalayan Tahr, along with varieties of birds like gadwall, common goldeneye and many more.

Rara Lake Trek is a simple tea house trek since the trail is not as famous as the Annapurna or Everest trail. But the place is equal to any other Himalayan trail in Nepal. Consequently, those who do not like the crowd can opt for this trek as there is very little traffic and crowds. Only a few hundred people make it to Rara Lake. Rara Lake Trek with Himalayan Ecological Trekking begins with a guided tour of UNESCO-listed world heritage sites of Nepal located in Kathmandu. Then onwards, you will officially start your trek to Rara Lake. Those who have been to Pokhara and visited Phewa or Begnas Taal can have a different kind of feeling when they visit Rara Lake. Rara Lake is the foundation of serenity, peace, and calmness. All in all, we invite you to join this trek with Himalayan Ecological Trekking and make one of the best memories of your visit to Nepal.
