About Gokyo Renjo la pass Trek - 10 days
Gokyo Renjo la pass Trek in Nepal is also known as the Khumbu Circuit Trek. It covers one high pass, a glacial lake, and an iconic Everest Base Camp. This is a most satisfying walking detour to walk on if you are really into understanding the geography and culture of Khumbu. Trekkers follow the trip plans like that of the Everest Base Camp Trekking until they return to Lobuche after an EBC visit. Please go through our EBC Trek package for more detailed information regarding the attractions until this point of the journey.
Once trekkers take the trail of Chola Pass the mountain thrill starts to take over. The course is slightly tricky as the trail is within the shore of a frozen icy lake. Heed the instructions of your guide while ascending the top of Chola. Once you are on top the majestic view of the mountains and surrounding landscape will let go of your tiredness.
Get the astounding sights of more than a dozen mountains. The panoramic view of the mountains makes this place a paradise for landscape and mountain photographers. On the other side of the pass remains the Gokyo Valley.
The Valley which is situated in the Gokyo Renjo la pass Trek route is indeed a mountain hamlet. The peaceful place located on the shores of Gokyo Lake is vibrant. The early sunrise as seen from the top of Gokyo Ri or the differing prospects of Mt. Everest is the major highlight of Gokyo. You can observe as many as five lakes around the valley. Trekkers finally take the comfortable trail route towards Namche Bazaar via Dole and Machhermo.
As the altitude decreases the change in vegetation and landscape starts to get noticed. Our experience in mountain trekking taught us that the trekking route looks spectacular when you return from the final destination. Overall if you want to experience the Sherpa people, high passes, Everest Base Camp, and Sunrise from Kalapathar (5545 m), this is an awesome chance.
